What the recipient wallet is
The wallet is a simple list of documents you received through Opcilo — seal code, sender, sealed date, and status — stored on this browser/device. Open it anytime at Your document wallet.
It is not Business Inbox (/app/inbox). Inbox is the authenticated workspace receive surface for organizations — see Business Inbox. The wallet is built for recipients, not senders. You do not need to seal documents to use it. If you are new to sealing, start with what document sealing is.
Seal code, sender, and Active status — kept in your wallet tray after verification.
How it works
A typical recipient workflow:
Open a verification link
Someone shares a seal link or code. You open it on Verify and confirm Document integrity for the sealed version.
It is saved on this device
After verification, Opcilo can keep that sealed document in your wallet on this device so you do not have to dig through email again.
Reopen from Wallet
Return to /wallet to see received documents, open verification again, and track whether you already downloaded a file.
Optional: sync with a free account
The wallet starts on this device. Create a free Opcilo account if you want the same list available across devices.

What stays local vs what syncs
Honest storage boundaries:
- Default: wallet entries live in this browser/device storage.
- Clearing site data or switching browsers can clear an unsynced wallet.
- A free account is the path to keep verified documents across devices.
- Wallet is not a cloud drive of every sealed file in the world — only documents you receive and save through Opcilo on this device (and sync when signed in).
Status: active and revoked
Wallet entries can show Active or Revoked. When a sender revokes a seal, verification reflects that status. The wallet refreshes entry status so you are not relying on an outdated “still good” assumption from an old email.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an Opcilo account to use the wallet?
No to receive and save on this device. A free account is only needed if you want the wallet synced across devices.
Where are wallet documents stored?
By default on this device/browser. Clearing site data can remove an unsynced wallet. Sign in with a free account to sync.
Will I still see a document if the sender revokes it?
The wallet can keep the entry, but status should show Revoked after refresh — and verification will reflect that the seal is no longer active.
Is the wallet the same as sealing my own files?
No. Sealing is for senders who upload and prove integrity. The wallet is for recipients who received sealed documents. See what document sealing is.
